Master Steel produced the structural steel components for the Kamikaze Slide─one of the 19 attractions found in the Extreme H2O Zone of Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast. The giant U-shaped half-pipe water slide lets revellers plunge into an 11-metre vertical drop at a steep angle of 70 degrees and ride from side-to-side for speeds of up to 50 km/h. The Kamikaze Slide opened in 2008.
Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast is located next to Warner Bros. Movie World in Oxenford, Queensland. The waterpark, previously known as Cade’s County Waterpark, is operated by Roadshow Village Theme Parks and is one of the seven parks around the world under the Wet’n’Wild brand. Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast is open year-round, with the water heated during winter.
